The format

A simple
machine

Four rules. They fit on one card. The card is laminated, because the island is wet, and because the producers like lamination.

Rule one

Thirty arrive

Nobody is told how long they are staying. They are told the number 30 a great deal, which the producers consider different.

Rule two

Every fifth day

A trial. Somebody wins it outright. Somebody else is voted off the shore at dusk, politely, by people they cooked for the night before.

Rule three

The crate

A supply drop every five days. Rations, one tool, one letter from home, and one immunity token. Find it before someone else does.

Rule four

No help

The crew may not assist. The crew may film. The distinction has been explained to the crew twice and understood by none of them.

The immunity mechanic

Inside
the crate

The crate is dropped from a height. The height has been queried in writing by two different departments. A reply is pending. The crate continues to be dropped.

Every fifth day

The
trials

Six of them. Each was designed on paper, tested once, and approved by somebody who was not present for the test.

The cast

All thirty

They volunteered. That is the part the producers would like recorded. Hover a card for what the edit decided about them.

⚠️ Every contestant on this page is invented, and every portrait is generated geometry — not a photograph, not a likeness, not a real person. This is a fictional format built as a joke about the television industry. Nobody was cast, filmed, dropped on an island or voted off anything.

All partners are fictional. Several of them are relieved about this.

The
paperwork

Every format comes with a document. This one came with four, and a covering note about the documents.

  1. Contestants are volunteers. They were told this repeatedly, in a tone that suggested they might not be.
  2. The winner is decided by a vote. The producers do not interfere in the vote. The producers choose who is eligible for the vote.
  3. Medical support is present at all times. The medical tent was flagged in the budget as a cost centre. The word centre was doing a lot of work.
  4. All footage becomes the property of the studio, including footage you did not know was being recorded, which is most of it.
  5. Editing is a creative act. A person may appear as a villain. They were not consulted about the villain arc. It is, we are told, very good telly.
  6. Nothing on this site is real. This is a fictional format and a joke at the expense of an industry. There is no island, there is no cast, and nobody was harmed, cast, filmed or voted off anything. The lamination, however, is real.

Tik-Kop Games is a Kubo Pictures format (fictional). Rated 15 for themes. Running time thirty days. The producers would like to thank the island, which was not consulted.
